It's a Girl Baby!!!

Wahoo! We are half-way done!!! We found out on Tuesday, October 14th that we are having a baby girl! We went in for the ultrasound and the first thing the lady told us was that the baby looked like a frog. I freaked but then she said that it was sitting like a frog and she couldn't tell what it was. Of all the times for your kid to be modest! She did the rest of her measurements and scheduled us for another ultrasound. I guess Rob and I looked pretty downtrodden or pathetic or something like that because she said that she would squeeze us in after we talked to the doctor. We came back and after me jiggling my stomach around a little she said she was 100 % sure that we had a little girl! This lady was a little Russian woman and we couldn't really understand her when she was explaining all the different parts to us but she kept saying 'perfect' and 'most perfect I've seen'. I take that as a good sign! It is so good to know that everything is going great for our baby and that she is doing awesome!

Rob*Jess*and Baby

Rob finally convinced me that is was about time that we joined the world of the blog. It took some convincing, but he obviously won because here we are!
We are still out in Dever for another 3 months. It feels like the time will never go by, but then I think back and we have been here for almost a year! The plan right now is to move back to Utah when our time is served here. Rob has a job with the Mtn. Man Outdoor Sports store that recently opened up in Ephraim. I can't wait to get back to the Sanpete Valley! We have had a good time out here and met some great friends, but we miss both our families and friends so much and feel so out of the loop here. Blah.
Other great things have been happening to us while we have been out here. We found out in June that we are going to have an addition to our family! Yep, we are finally joining everyone in the baby making business. Our little one is scheduled to arrive the 28th of Feb., but how often do they really come then? I planned this just right because we will be moving the end of January so I won't have to help with the whole moving process. :) Ok, not really it just turned out that way, but hey, I'm not complaining! We find out on the 14th of this month whether the boy names we've picked out will work or if we will have to think harder to come up with some girl names. I can't wait! Rob is so excited to tell everyone!
Rob is doing great things in school. He recently finished his custom made rifle which is amazing! I will find some pictures to post, but they just won't do the gun justice. He loves running all over the hills chasing deer and coyotes and can't wait for the upcoming hunts. I can't either just so it will get him out of the house and quit talking about it.
I am still teaching at the daycare which I absolutely love. I was the toddler teacher but I recently had to switch rooms because I got my appendix out and since then haven't been able to lift the kids on doctor's orders. It was hard to leave my kids, but now I am with the school age kids and love them also.
Wow, now that I have written a novel about our lives here and you know everything that has been happening for the past year, I've got to go take a nap!
